Cutwater Maritime was founded in 2013 to undertake specialty heritage preservation projects in the Pacific Northwest.
Since then services have expanded to include preservation planning, determinations of historic significance, fleet winterization, hull support design, and historical research work.

With more than 20 years of experience working at maritime museums across the United States and Northern Europe, I know what goes into a successful preservation project, what course to steer, and the obstacles to avoid. There is no book that will tell you how to do this; experience in the field is the best instrument of navigation available.
